    FROM THE DUGOUT

Mat Sadler: “They will be desperate to put things right from their perspective on home turf and it’s up to us rise to that, understand that and I’m sure they will come out all guns blazing. It’s up to us to match that and be fully focused on what we want to do, who we are and those will be the messages I’ll be putting across.”

Graham Coughlan: "Walsall are a very attack-minded side. They'll come after us, they'll press hard, play on the front foot. They're a big and physical team with some clinical players, if you present opportunities to those players, they'll take them. Walsall are at a good moment in time, they're playing well, scoring goals. We'll have to roll our sleeves up, be up for the scrap and see where we are."

    TEAM NEWS

Mat Sadler confirmed that Aramide Oteh is set for a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Liam Gordon is back in contention after missing the last two matches while away with Guyana on international duty, that saw him play his part in two 3-1 victories over Puerto Rico.

As for Newport, they have a lengthy injury list of absentees at the moment with former Saddler James Clarke, Kyle Jameson, Adam Lewis, Harry Charsley, Seb Palmer-Houlden and Offrande Zanzala all sidelined.

Graham Coughlan will also assess Will Evans, Declan Drysdale and Aaron Wildig ahead of tonight’s match, with the trio carrying knocks.
